The BlanketCare Program

The BlanketCare program will supply fast replacement hardware repair service to its customers. This program provides a ready to ship spare service for customers. For service, all calls/cases received before 3:00 P.M. Central Time Monday through Friday will be shipped overnight. Calls/cases received after 3:00 P.M. Central Time Monday through Friday will be shipped the next business day. The system being shipped will be fully configured with the customer's last archived system backup. The replacement system will be installed and tested with remote help from the PowerNet support center. The replacement system will become the new production system for the customer. The replaced system must be returned to Connect for repair. This repaired system replaces the BlanketCare unit shipped to customer and is used for future replacements if needed.

A current configuration backup must be archived by Connect for this program to function properly. The customer must allow Connect to gain access to the production system via the internal modem in the NCU to upload the current configuration. The phone line then can be detached to assure customer security.
